Time moves quickly.
My last post on this blog was over 5 years ago. At that time, I had left the UK and was travelling in Asia. I returned to the UK in March 2015 and worked for one more year, but my time there was drawing to a close.
Around the time of the Brexit vote, I shipped my belongings back to New Zealand. I have a wealth of happy memories from my time in the UK, but I am now settled back in my native New Zealand.
I've retained the domain for this blog up to now, but there seems little point in continuing to pay for it. I believe it will move to a free URL: thiskiwicanfly.blogspot.com.
If anyone ever stumbles upon this blog while considering living in a different country, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I met so many wonderful people and it was one of the happiest times of my life. Give it a go!
